How to create an Activity listing and Activity sub item page for Enduring Material that links to the Enrollment/Registration

First step:

Create an Activity listing page.  This page is to show the list of Activities from the web site menu.

  • For this follow the instructions under Web Content - Add New Sub Item/Sub Item help doc.
  • Make sure the below information is:

  • URL Link Text – Text that appears on the menu bar.
  • Forward to URL – The menu will automatically re-direct to a URL you specify. Use this function if you are not adding content. Example : to direct the sub menu to Enduring materials Activity listing enter the following in Forward to URL field -
                                         Site URL/ index.cfm?do=pln.publistActivities&activityTypes=Enduring materials

Second step:

Go to the Enduring Material Activity you wish to setup an Activity page for.

Go to the Session page under the Enduring Material Activity

Scroll to the bottom of the page and copy the highlighted part of the URL

Go 'Manage Activity page'

Add new Sub Item page

Title the page for example: Enrollment or Registration (Note: you don't need to turn on the Registration on the Activity info page for EM Registration )

Under Document Link copy the EM Session link as shown below

On the front end from the Activity page the learners would be able to access the EM Session

If you have more than one Session under an single Activity, instead of using the Document Link, add the Session titles under 'Content ' section

Select the Session title, click on the link icon , and paste the Session URL as shown below.

Here they would see separate links for the respective EM session
Multiple Products:

When you have multiple Products attached to an Enduring Material Event/Session , your site has to be configured to show multiple products in this EM Registration flow. Please reach out to your Project Manager to turn on this configuration on your site.
