The below product updates are scheduled to go live October 7, 2024. Release notes for each update will be added here once it is available in your test environment.
Bulk Mapping: Ability to map multiple submissions to sessions at once. Please reach out to your project manager if you would like to turn this functionality on for your site. Once turned on, you can perform bulk mapping by:
- In the admin, go to Submissions > Bulk Mapping
- Select ONE submission type and any other filters you would like
- Check off the submissions you want to map and click Submit
- The interface will walk you through our standard mapping process, similar to prior individual mapping you are used to.
Magic Link: End users and admins can now sign in via a one-time sign in link, opposed to entering a user name and password. There are two ways a magic link can be sent to a user:
- Go to any person, vendor, exhibitor or admin user account record > under the action drop down by their name, select Send Magic Link. This will send an email to the user that includes the one-time sign in link.
- Run any existing report that includes the ability to email > select the Magic Link email template.
The sign in link can only be used once and by default will expire after 60 minutes. The expiry timeframe can be updated on a site by site basis.
Session Add/Edit Screen UI Update: The session add/edit screen has been updated so that the fields are grouped under sections with headers. This is consistent with other add/edit screens in the system.
Registration Products - Sold Out Message: If a registration type or product has sold out, "Sold Out" text will display next to that type or product, where the price typically is. Previously, sold out types and products no longer appeared in the registration process. This update provides the end user greater clarity as to why they cannot select a sold out option.
Import via File Error/Success Messages: The following updates have been made to the import via file user flow to make it the status of the import more clear and make it easier to correct failed records.
- When running a test and/or live import, the summary screen will include two files 1) All data you: attempted to uploaded and 2) All failed records. Previously, there was only one file with all records.
- After running a live import, the summary screen will provide one of the below statuses to give you an idea of the success of the import
- All records have been successfully imported
- Some records failed to import
- All records failed to import
