PARS Learner Data Reports

Video Walk-through: PARS Learner Data Reports

PARS Learner Data Reports are located under Reports > Activities > ACCME Reporting > PARS Batch Learner Data Report.

 

There are two options to choose from:

  • 2023 Excel Learner Batch Template - This is the main PARS Learner Data Report that matches the latest template ACCME has provided.
  • 2023 Excel Learner Pre-Validation Template - If you would like to pre-validate your learners, you can use this template before uploading your learner data. This matches the latest pre-validation template ACCME has provided.

 

 

Once selecting a template, you will have the ability to filter the report. Key filters include:

  • The Learner Data Report only retrieves learners that identified as 'Physician' on their profile.
  • The Learner Data Report will automatically filter by activities ending on or before the current data. PARS will only accept learner data on activities that have ended.

Instead of the current date, you can use the 'In Calendar years' field to account for all activities in a given year, or enter the dates in the 'On or After' fields .

  • To filter the learners for activities that is approved for MOC credits, select the desired MOC credit under Certificates.

  • To restrict the report results to only the physicians that completed the board information, select the board associated with the credit under the Member organization.

Note: Do not select the board if you'd like to include all physicians regardless of their MOC board membership.

  • Under Step 3 - Run Report
    • Only Report on PARS Activity Types is auto selected since these are the activities that are applicable to this report
    • Only Report on Activities with an ACCME Activity ID is NOT checked by default. This data is required by PARS. Leaving it unchecked will allow you to see which activities are missing the ID.
    • Generate File for Batch Deletion is NOT checked by default. In the PARS template, the field "Record Action" will assume you want to add learner credit data unless this option in checked in which case the "Record Action" field will change to "Delete.

  • The report will show the board and credit information for the learners.
    • Note: You may have Physician learners that completed the board information, but that information is not displayed because they were not awarded the selected MOC credits.
