PARSReportYearOffset validation helps to ensure providers do not setup activities that cannot be reported using HMCE PARS reporting.
The validation is set up per site, and is off by default. If you would like this validation turned on for your site, please contact your Project Manager.
This is to make sure that, for example: Any activity that occurred in 2019, would be reported as a 2019 activity only.
Choose the PARS reporting calendar option you are using:
- Calendar Year (January to December)
- Fiscal year (varies per organization)
- Academic year (July to June)
We will configure the Activity date settings as per the PARS reporting year option chosen. When activities are saved, the system will use the settings to determine the PARS reporting year for the start and end dates. If they are not the same, the system shows the error, and prevent the user from saving the activity. The validation requires that the start and end date be submitted.
From the Activity Dashboard, click the edit icon next to 'Activity Information' to see the PARS Reporting Year
Update the 'PARS Report Year' field and click 'Save'
